Hi, I am trying to implement one controller code using F28377D (TMDXDOCK28377D docking station). I want to execute some part of code using CPU timer 0 interrupt. I tried to find some example in ControlSuite but could not. Can I use the same examples in F28335 for CPU Timer 0? I fear the CPU timer functionality of F28377D is not exactly same as F28335. Please let me know the path of the example for CPU timer, if there is one.

Hi Shambhu,

There is a timer exmaple in controlSUITE (controlSUITE\device_support\F2837xD\v150\F2837xD_examples_Cpu1\cpu_timers). Please have a look into this.

Also timers on F28377D device are same as F28335.

What is the need of using below lines in this code.

GPIO_SetupPinMux(65, GPIO_MUX_CPU1, 0);
GPIO_SetupPinOptions(65, GPIO_OUTPUT, GPIO_PUSHPULL);

The first line set the pin 65 as peripheral 1 i.e simple GPIO. But the pin 65 is ground as per the "TMDSCNCD28377D_180cCARD_pinout_R1_1.pdf". What is the function of GPIO_SetupPinOptions? Why do we need configure pin with GPIO_PUSHPULL configuration?

Shambhu,

The 65 is not pin 65, it's GPIO 65. GPIO 65 is pin 130 on the controlCARD.
