Float Value in sprintf and sscanf function of compiler for F28377D controller.

Hello,

I am using F28377D controller for my one of the project. Also i am using CCS6 with 6.2.11 compiler version. When I am used sprintf function for float value then program counters goes to Error state and program execution is stopped. I also try by increasing heap size upto 0x400 and --printf_support=full. It is very urgent to solved this issue.

Urgent you say - strange that! Surely many will "halt" their "to do" list - rush in response to that declared urgency... Or not!

Do you realize that you've "landed" in a forum far, far removed from your F28377D MCU? That's not especially wise - especially when the need is "urgent."

As a "simple minded" (yet quick) suggestion - as you declare your, "sprintf" function as error causing - have you (urgently) considered its elimination and/or replacement? Is it possible to read that float value via some alternate means - one which will escape, "error state?" Seems a worthwhile - and more goal oriented approach to your dilemma....
