Hello,

I just received my order of a LAUNCHXL-F28027F launchPad and a BOOSTXL-DRV8301 BoosterPack and noticed that the switches (S1 & S4) stand tall on the LAUNCHXL-F28027F and don't allow complete mating of both boards. Seems there is quite a space under the switches as though they may have been installed incorrectly or is this just the way it is produced if anyone knows or has experienced the same issue?

Hi Gautam,

The orientation is correct it's just that the S1 and S4 switches sit up high to the point that the booster pack won't seat completely on the side that the switches are located. I thought that was sort of odd considering these boards seem to have been well thought out otherwise.

Yes that's the case but I shouldn't have to modify the product considering smaller switches are probably available and should have been used. I'll just assume it was a mistake and TI has a boat load of these to sell off before they redo it the correct way???
