Trouble loading Universal GUI into CCS for 'c2802xF / drv8301

Working the the QSG for the Univeral GUI, page 9. After creating the zip file, I'm getting this error when importing the universal gui zip file into CCS:

Any idea of what the problem could be? CCS is version 6.1 Just downloaded the universal gui today.

Hi Chris, the error messsage is "GUI Composer has detected your project is using an older library. It is required to update to the latest version."Any idea of what library is being referenced?

just select Yes to upgrade.
The GUI Composer engine has all sorts of different versions...apparently the one in CCSv6 is newer than the one we used to build the UNIVERSALGUI. It works fine once imported.

when select yes to upgrade CCS then goes back to the screen to import the Ziped project, hit OK, then back to the error message. seems like it runs a loop instead of upgrading the project library.

I just tried and couldn't reproduce....it works just fine for me. I've forwarded to the GUI C team to try to help.

You may want to start-up CCS and choose a new workspace. I find starting a new workspace solves all sorts of CCS issues...

Hi John,

Just to clarify. When you say upgrade CCS, do you mean upgrading CCS or upgrading the GUI App to use the latest GUI Composer library?

I just tried to import the gui myself, the project upgrade works fine. Can you try to attach the project zip file that you have and also try to re-attach a screen shot of CCS with GUI Composer?

Patrick and Chris, I created a new CCS workspace and all the issues went away! Thank you both for your help.
