F28m35 board missing clock

we have made a minimum system , and run the LED code, and found that LED blinking normally for a while and then turn to be very slow, and in the debug mode, I found the MCLKFLG was SET, the refence was missing, how to find the cause? what may cause this? the osc circuit has used before.

  • Hi,

MCLKFLG get sets if the external OSC CLK is not stable (or stops). Is it possible to monitor the external OSC CLK on your board to see if it ever goes out of range? Also please refer the "Table 1-15. Reference Clock Limits for Detecting a Missing Clock" in TRM, which provides the setting for REFCLKLOLIMIT and REFCLKHILIMIT for different refclk frq.
