Hi ,

I am using tms320f2812 in data sheet they mentioned 6.67ns cycle time, please can anyone explain what is that and how can i come to know it is executing with 6.67nsec.

Hi Gavi,

As you might already know 150MHz corresponds to 6.67ns. Hence it takes 6.67ns for the CPU to execute 1 instruction and is called as 1 CPU Cycle. CCS has an option called "Profile Clock" which counts number of CPU cycles required to execute particular instruction or computation.

Thanks...but i am finding that option in CCSV6 to enable the clock.
