Hi -

Lab5e has you enter USER_SYSTEM_BANDWIDTH_SCALE in user.h. When looking at user.h, the parameter name is USER_SYSTEM_BANDWIDTH. The comment in the code says to multiply the scale value by 20 and enter that value. So my question is - does one multiply the value found in Lab5e by twenty and or not to set USER_SYSTEM BANDWIDTH?

Mary,

We changed the definition of bandwidth in between Motorware 13 and Motorware 14. So in MotorWare 14 you only need to enter USER_SYSTEM_BANDWIDTH in the user.h file. Previously if you had a value for bandwidth scale you would need to multiply it by 20 in order to convert into Bandwidth. if you have determined a correct value for the bandwidth using lab 5e you can input that value.
