What is the XMP/MC pin on f28377d? First time I heard about it.

The above extract is for F2812 and hence the same is meant for that device. F28377d does not have that pin.

Hi Gautam,

I looked the document you added, and understand the procedure of the flash programming via serial port. However I have a different problem. The f28377d has two boot mode pins GPIO72 and GPIO84.
If both of them are "1" the cpu is in Get Mode.
And if GPIO72 is "0" and GPIO84 is "1" then cpu is in SCI Mode.

First, I shoul arrange the cpu to "SCI Mode" and load the code. Then change the boot mode to "Get Mode" to run the code from flash after power cycle.
The problem is exactly here. I have a demo board that doesn't have switch on these GPIO72 and GPIO84 pins. These pins are connected to 3.3v with pullup on my board (They are 1 continuously)(I am always on Get Mode when the emulator isn't connected).

Is there a way to pass between these boot modes with software ? Or What else can I do without changing boot modes?

What you can try is in the code disable the GPIO pull-up using GPxPUD register. Later you can pull it down. Let me know whether this works for you.

Hi Again,

Your idea will probably work or I can directly change the boot mode by BOOTCTRL register on the software.
However I wonder another thing.
If I change the boot mode on software, will it be preserved for the next power cycle?
For example, the code is running on flash and device is on GetMode. Then I send some signal as trigger to change this BOOTCTRL register to pass SCI boot mode.
After power down and power up the device What will be the boot mode of the device?
