Interfacing the DAC8760 and ADS8332 to TMS320F28335 using SPI Communication

I am planning to use the DAC8760 EVM and ADS8332 EVM at the same time as slaves of DSP TMS320F28335, ADC is in a 16bit SPI communication  and is working properly using the code example here in your website by Dale Li, and i tried the DAC8760 and DSP interfacing using 8 bit FIFO SPI communication and succeed.. but the problem is interfacing both with different character size communication,. It seems very complicated to change the ADC DSP Interface code for the two-8bit FIFO. Is there anyone have a good suggestion?? Please help me.. Thanks..
