Hello
- In the data sheet of 28377D (section 6.6.5), a note mentions possible connection problems to unprogrammed devices (wd reset).
- For our custom board we want to use the get mode to boot to flash (GPIO 1/1)
- We want to program our devices with CCS 6.1 and XDS200 USB (no mass programming, small series)
- Since now I have always been able to program an empty device.
- Sometimes I had problems, but I do not know if the wd was the reason. In case of problems I was able to connect manually, let it run to 0x80000, and then erase all with "OnChipFlash" in CCS. Then problems went away .
Question: Do we really have to foreseen a possibility to select another boot mode to program our devices on the custom board, or will we always have the possibility to connect to empty devices with XDS200 USB (ev. with small troubles, which would be ok)?
Thank you for your advice
Best regards
Roger
