How can I find details about CpuTimer0Regs.TIM.all?

I'm using legacy code that uses CpuTimer0Regs.TIM.all to time how long an ISR takes. I'm trying to determine details such as:

1) How fast does it count?

2) Does it count up or down?

I'm using a TMS320F2812 with CCS 5.2.1 and DSP/BIOS 5.41.13.42

You'll find details on the F2812's CpuTimer in that chip's "System Control and Interrupts Reference Guide" (http://www.ti.com/lit/spru078)

To answer your questions:
1) Often the same as SYSCLK, which is usually configured via software to be ~150MHz on this device. However, there is a prescalar (if you wish to use it).
2) It counts up down.

Thanks for your reply. I checked SPRS174T and it seemed to say that CpuTimer0Regs.TIM counts down (p 56). Can you confirm?
