TMS320F28335, EXPERIMENTER KIT and (SD TMS-320f28335eZdsp) differences

Hello,

What are the differences bet TMS320F28335, EXPERIMENTER KIT and (SD TMS-320f28335eZdsp) ?

and Are they have the same documents (manuals,application notes....etc)?

Is TMS320F28335, EXPERIMENTER KIT has SCI serial interface like (SD TMS-320f28335eZdsp) ?
because I didnt find the socket of the SCI on the exp kit as on the eZdsp or it has another type of pins?

Hi Shady,

There are actually two paths on the TMDSDOCK28335.

1) The DOCKing Station contains a FTDI chip which connects to your computer via USB. This FTDI chip gives you both a xds100v1 emulator interface as well as a UART/SCI interface.

2) With switches on the controlCARD put in a specific way, J3 on the Docking Station can provide you a SCI interface.

The controlCARD and Docking Station schematics, located in controlSUITE, can help you learn more.
