F28069 controlCARD - flash using CCS 6.1.0

Hello everybody,

I'm getting confidence with TMDSPLCV3KIT and now I would like to flash the F28069 controlCARD using CCS 6.1.0

I have followed the step-by-step instructions (TI PLC Development Kit User Guide - Flashing Firmware) using CCS.

I'm able to create a F28069 target configuration, I launch the target configuration file by right clicking on the “.ccxml “ file but I cannot connect to F28PLC83 device. Please find attached the "error" screenshot.

Actually I would like to save the current firmware from the F28069 to .out file into my PC and then to flash the cards with the new firmeware.

Someone could please help me?

You can ignore this error. You can simply press the Play button to resume functionality.

You can use CCS Uniflash for the same.

Hi Gautam,

thanks for the reply. I have installed the Uniflash tool and I need help with regard how to save the memory to .out file.

I found "Save/Export Memory" in the Program menu. At this point I can go on ?

Can you help me to understand the various fields to fill in?

.out is a COFF format only. Start address can be 0x0000; length - check the memory of the device.
Not used this feature though.
