XREADY and XHOLD pulled up

Hello, everyone. I hope someone help me.

1. I download a design of TI about 28335. But the pin XREADY and XHOLD
don't pulled up. why?
2. In software I can disable of XREAD to bypass it, but if XHOLD
doesn't pulled up and left alone, immediately cpu repond it, and I can't access external ram?

Hello.
I just found in datasheet that XHOLD can be masked in software. I have just been familiar with 28335 for a month.
The design I download is "2833X_REFERENCE.pdf".

Hi,

Good to know you have found the way to bypass the XHOLD pin (using HOLD bit in XINTF Configuration Register). Please note that this pin is INPUT pin hence will not be pulled-up by controller. Since this pin can be used for other functionality as well (e.g. trip zone) hence reference design does not have any recommended value. User need to take care of this based on how they are planning to use the input pin. In this case you need to have a pull-up on the board to drive this pin high or if not using this functionality then SET the HOLD bit field to ignore this pin.
