I find all the TMS320F28377D are Not Available from the distributers or TI. Now I want to order dozens of this chip to build some high speed system. Can anyone tell me approximate time of this product formally released.

Hi,

The product is active on www.ti.com and thus should be definitely released (It used be in preview earlier, but now seems to be active, thus should be completely released). Rather than checking the website, I will suggest you contact the local distributor or TI sales representative. They should be able to help out.

Hi,

This device has been released for full production so orders can be placed through your local distributor. For small quantity orders, DigiKey or Mouser would be best to support. We are also in the process of getting some units to be able to suport small quantity requests. This should be reflected on the web soon.

Thanks for your reply. But I recently contact several TI distributors in Beijing, they all told me that there is no stock. They said I need to order a minimum quantity for at least 40 and have to wait until early of the next year. I cannot wait so long and 40 units is a little more, actually, I just need under 10 units. Please help.

Hi Nishant,
Distributors who are able to support <10pcs are typically DigiKey, Mouser, or Newark. TI is also able to support orders through our website. With regards to stocking we have the TMS320F28377DPTPT in stock today and will be getting the TMS320F28377DZWTT in the next few weeks. The distributors are quoting the standard lead time which is about 16 weeks but we'll have stock well before then. Please let me know if this helps and if you have additional questions.

Hi Loretta,
I am still not able to find any such updates on TI's website and authorised vendors are also still quoting a 4-6 weeks lead time. Is there any way we can get a specific timeframe when these chips will be available?

What specific configuration are you looking for? I see we have stock of the TMS320F28377DPTPT in the eStore. The TMS320F28377SZWTT is out of stock for another few weeks.

Hi Loretta,
I am interested in TMS320F28377DPTPT and TMS320F28377DZWTT. I am not able to see this as being in stock in the TI store. All I see is a link to order samples and I am under the impression that we can only order 2 samples for trials or am I wrong on this?
If possible, can you provide me a link to the address that lists this as being in stock?

No. Once I login and place order for 10 samples, it shows on the next page as being backordered with not mention of an availability.
