Gimbal Controller InstaSpin Motion

Question to Experts. I want to operate three motors for Gimbal Controller.

What processor can use better for this? I want to use only one processor, but not three.

  • InstaSPIN-MOTION is not available im a processor that supports 3 axis.

I sent this to LineStream however, and if this is a significant opportunity size they may support your distributor selling you an F28377D/S or F28075 preprogrammed with the SpinTAC library. This does not include any FOC, just the SpinTAC motion suite components which output an Iq_Ref to be dudes in your own torque controller.

BTW - I see many gimbal applications use hall sensors for BLDC commutation or they do an open loop (for commutation) approach that is almost like stepper control.
  • Andrew,

If you are interested in using the SpinTAC Components on the F28377D/S or F28075 feel free to send me an email at the address below and we can chat about how we can make this happen.
  • Dear Adam,

Do your company really provide SpinTAC Suite on F28377D/S or F28075? I have checked the information on TI's Website, but I don't find any info relating to using SpinTAC Suite on F28377D/F28075.

From point of view of an user, we expect to integrate SpinTAC Suite on every devices that have enough resources to control many motors in the field of motion control.

    Best regards,
  • Tran,

We have no current plans to offer the SpinTAC Suite on the F28x7x devices.
