ModBus TCP

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hi TI,

I have got a project to make my board (Concerto F28M35H52C1) can be used by ModBus TCP protocol. I am planning to use lwip and change the current example "enet_lwip_m3". I am struggling in how to get started. Does anyone can give any suggestion on how to do it or any other documentation describes this application?

Many thanks,

Ben

Is this your first attempt to get acquainted with C2000 controllers or F28M35? or have you alreday working on other C2000 devices and concerto family is new for you?

  • Hi Gautam,

Thanks for your reply. I have got some experience on working on F28M35H52C1 concerto. I have been playing around with all the examples provided by TI for a long time. However, I am not able to find any useful document on implementing the Modbus TCP protocol.

As for the docs, the following folders has all the info:

    C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v207\doc

Again, I don't feel you'll get the detailed description of what you're seeking. You'll have to go back to theory and read related articles and implementations.

    Regards,

    Gautam
