HI,

I wander if TI are going to release assembly version of Digital Power Library, I only found DPL of C version in the latest controlSUITE. I think assembly version is more efficient. While the C version is more convenient for programming in C version ISR, so I recommend to publish a C callable assembly DPL.

Thanks for your suggestion but as per what I feel is both pure assembly or C callable assembly would not be something available in near future or future itself as world is moving towards C. I can understand the flexibility you're seeking for :)

Thanks for the feedback,

So far we are planning on only C based library for floating point devices, and going forward floating point will be more prevalent in the microcontroller family in general.

I understand that Assembly is the best efficiency possible, however even that library has overhead and with FPU and compiler options you can achieve similar performance.

Are you using floating point or fixed point for your control ?
