Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE
Hi Folks
I have a ControlStick and a Launchpad (I've tried several of these now so defo not a h/w issue), both with F28027PT. On both I can't get a stand alone boot (i.e. applying power but not running debug from CCS with expectation that previously loaded code will run) to work.
If I have the Example_F2802xLEDBlink project loaded then this works. But I have my own project, which I have now reduced down to also simply flashing a LED, but mine will not work.
As far as I can tell the only difference between them is that the target configuration for the example project uses an emulator debug device (Texas Instruments SDX100v1 USB Emulator_0/C28xx) while my project uses a debug probe (Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB Debug Probe/C28xx), although this looks like it may just be a difference in the name rather than the actual debug driver?
Memory at locations 0x3DBFE and 0x3DBFF both contain 0xFFFF as expected. The GPIO lines are HIGH as expected.
My program just wont load at power-on. What else can I check?
Thanks
