I am trying to generate a PWM for an inverter using the in built epwm  but i always get a  voltage at the output of the converter which  fundamental is very low about 10 hz when it need to be 50 hz

can anyone help me to get pass this ?? i am new user

  • Hi Jean,

Can you more specific? Are you trying to generate SPWM?

    Regards,
    Gautam

  • Dear Gautam,
I am trying to generating the SPWM , i am using simulink where i generate a balance three phase source (50 Hz frequency each and 120 degree from each other)and send to the epwm module (epwm2, epwm2,epwm3) the timer period of the epwm is set to 5000 which generates a carrier signal of 10kHz .. i sample the balance three phase at 5kHz which for some reasons i do not understand is the max sampling frequency i could use in order to get the fundamental frequency of my output converter to be 50 Hz. i would like to sample the three phase signal at more than 5kHz , let say 500kHz how do i do that in order to still get the fundamental output of my converter to be 50 Hz??

I really hope you can help me
    Best regards
    Jean
