DQ control for a single phase inverter

Hi,

Anyone using dq control for a single phase inverter controller design? I'v read a lot of academic papers on the topic and I was wondering  if TI has an eval board or any C code based on this control technique. I did find a GE patent on the general idea submitted in 2003, so maybe no one can use it?

Any comments would be welcome.

    We do not have DQ control of single phase inverter, however we have released a new single phase inverter design in controlSUITE, check out powerSUITE under controlSUITE which uses PR controllers for high gain at AC frequencies. You can read the doucmentation etc to get an idea.

    To start
    1. Install Code Composer Studio www.ti.com/.../ccstudio
    2. Open Code Composer Studio, Go to View-> CCS App Center, under Code Composer Studio Add-ons make sure GUI Composer in installed, if not install GUI Composer.
    3. Install controlSUITE www.ti.com/.../controlsuite (Note: powerSUITE is installed with controlSUITE in the default install)
    4. Close CCS, and open a new workspace, CCS will automatically detect powerSUITE. A restart of CCS may be required for the change to be effective.
    5. Go to View-> Resource Explorer, under the TI Resource Explorer go to controlSUITE -> powerSUITE

    Open TI Design software as it is (opens firmware as it was run on this design/hardware, requires the board to be exactly the same as this TI Design, does not allow modification through the powerSUITE GUI inside the project)
    1. Under powerSUITE, select Development Kits -> Single Phase Inverter: Voltage Source

    PR controllers are equivalent to DQ controller, and actually i believe they are more optimal specially when you start controlling harmonics..

    I am unaware if there are patents regarding this subject though.
