G3 PLC Cenelec A TX level

Hi,

Can I check in this GUI, understand that we are able to set the TX level from 0 to 32. May I know what is the power output for Transmit when I set it to 32? And what is the different for each steps (what is the power output when I set 1 step lower)?

Thanks,

KH

  • Hi KH,

TX level 32 means 114dBuV over 2 ohm load with 1.3:1 step down transformer. If you lower the power level (say TX level16), then the voltage should be 20*log10(16/32) + 114 dBuV = 111 dBuV. The general formula is 114 + 20*log10(TX level/32).
