how to connect external jtag emulator with texas instruments docking-stn usb-emu[r3] (TMS320F28335)?

Hi Saravanan,

There's JTAG connector J2 where you can directly connect the External JTAG Emulator. Keep in mind that you'll have to power the docking station through external supply and not USB!

I have given External power supply but it shows error in CCSv5 when i Check to the test connection in Target Configuration

eventhough When i give external power supply to target board the external JTAG Emulator (Texas Instrument XDS 100V2) shows error while checking the Test connection option in Target Configuration(CCSv5).

Hi,

To confirm, you are using a TMDSCNCD28335 with a Docking Station baseboard. Correct?
Is CCS able to connect if you use the xds100v1 located on the baseboard?

Can you try populating a jumper at J8 on the baseboard? (holds the xds100v1 on the baseboard in reset)

The test for the JTAG IR instruction path-length failed.
The JTAG IR instruction scan-path is stuck-at-ones.

The test for the JTAG DR bypass path-length failed.
The JTAG DR bypass scan-path is stuck-at-ones. We are getting errors like this how to rectify it?
