Is there any class to learn how to use BISO for C2000?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Hello,

I am using TMS320F28335 for my project and would like to use Ti BIOS to develop the firmware.

I have not been able to find any class to teach how to use TI BISO C2000. Is there any class which teach such a course? Does it really help?

Thanks

  • Hi Tom,

In 2008 I've attended "DSP/BIOS™ OS Design Workshop" in Landshut near Munich, Germany. I don't know if TI still makes this workshop, but for me it was really helpful getting the basics of RTOS concepts with examples on TI's DSP/BIOS. If you are already familiar with RTOS concepts I don't know if this workshop is as usefull as it was for me, because DSP/BIOS has pretty standard API calls that you can find in any other RTOS package.

Also the "TMS320C28x™ DSP Workshop" now called "C2000 Delfino Multi-Day Workshop" covers the basics of DSP/BIOS but it is much more oriented on quick start with Delfino series of MCU-s/DSP-s. For me it was invaluable time saver. I recoment that you check the materials available at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:C2000_Training
