Hi Gautam,

Is there any migration Guide available for the above DSPs? I wanted to reduce the porting time.

Aish,

The migration guide we're planning is for F2833x -> F2837x. We don't have one planed for the F281x -> F2837x right now. The guide should be avaiable 1H16.

Hi Aish,

From F2812 to F28377S is a big jump and too they don't belong to similar C2000 family! TMS320F2812 has different way of configuring peripherals esp. it had a terminology named "Event Manager" which doesn't exist in current generation devices.

The only way to successfully migrate to the required device is to :
1. Do the peripheral configuration (as in F2812) on F28377S with the help of example codes.
2. Then simply copy-paste the algorithms used.

Check the system clock settings as that would be very important while configuring. Let us know if you ever get stuck anywhere in the process!

Gautam, I was successfully able to implement the PWM and ADC configuration. Now working on SPI configuration. Currently working on individual projects per peripheral and will integrate all later. Thanks again for your help.
