tms320c2000

Hi,

I have some problems working on tms320c2000 development board kit. It is for project on college. First, we connected two shafts together and then tried to run demo example (on CD which came in package with board - "2xPM_Motors" example ). Our problem is that we don't know the structure of implemented cascade controller. So when Isw variable is changed there are some strange behavior of motor i.e. when Isw=1 then the moment loop is closed and change of speed reference should not act on speed. But, speed changes when speed reference is changed. Also, speed is changing when Isw=2 but it is normal. So, for solving this problem we need someone to refer on literature or .pdf when the cascade structure is explained.

Thanks.

  • I am having these problems to, plus others. When Isw1=1, then speed control is attained, and if Isw1=2, then the motor turns unevenly and stops, having to halt the processor, restart, etc.

In fact, using the two motors option, the second motrod does strange things even if Isw2 is 0.

    thanks.
