Hi,
I want to know how much system clocks cost for F28M35 standard operation for maskable interrupts.
As you know when a C28 maskable interrupt occur, C28 core will follow following precdures:
1) Interrupt request sent to CPU
2) Set corresponding IFR flag bit
3) Clear IFR bit
4) Empty pipeline
5) Increment and temporarily store PC
6) Fetch interrupt vector
7) Increment SP by 1
8) Perform automatic context save
9) Clear correponding IER bit
10) Set INTM and DBGM, Clear LOOP, EALLOW, and IDLESTA.
11) Load PC with fetched vector
12) Execute interrupt service routing.
13) Execute continues
How much system clocks will C28 core cost from step 1) to step 11) ? The system clocks number cost is fixed?
