Hello Chris,

I previously had a DRV8301 (revD) - LS 31 (Hercules mcu) kit. using Motorware v1.00.03.03 and CCSV5.3 with no problem running Instaspin - bldc and FOC_Encoder_Speed.

I purchased a new board part # TMDSCNCD28069MISO , Control Card TMS320F28069MPZT from DIGI-KEY to use with DRV8301-revD driver/inverter board.

I downloaded Motorware _1_01_00_15 and Code Conposer V6.and try to build Proj_lab01 with C2000_6_4._2 compiler but would result to 3 errors.

Error #1600-D file : ISA revision "C2800" in not compatible with ISA revision "C2700".

Error # 1600-D file : : ISA revision "C28FPU32" is not compatible with ISA revision "C2700"

Using Labs User's Guide version 1.0.13 ( InstaSPIN-FOC & InstaSPIN-MOTION ) for F2802xF,F2805xF,F2805xM,F2806xF and F2806xM

devices ,

I viewed "proj_lab01.c" Include files . The globals (reference) #ifdef F2802xF instead 0f device F2806xf I selected.

# ifdef DRV8305_SPI is highlighted instead of DRV8301_SPI which is also selected for this project.

Is this an indication that I don't have the right Motorware version ? ...I am not sure.

I think you simply imported the wrong projects (for the F2802xF).
delete the project and try importing the projects at:
C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_15\sw\solutions\instaspin_foc\boards\boostxldrv8301_revB\f28x\f2806xF\projects\ccs5

Hi Chris ,
I am having problems IDing my motor (Motenergy Me1117) using Lab 02C..
Motor won't spin at all.
I downloaded motorware as suggested and noticed that version motorware_1_01_00_15\sw\solution\instaspin_foc\boards\boostertzldrv301_rebB is used ,
while my Control Card TMS320F28069MPZT is using DRV8301_revD inverter board.
This version did solved my original error problem (Error #1600-D) but am not sure
if it is contributing to my new problem of not being able to use Lac02c for Iding my motor.

I have seen motorware 13 using File Solution for DRV8301_revD inverter board and it has
define parameters in USER.h which is very different from DRV8301_revB board.

Maybe I need another version of motorware that has a File Solution that directly address my Drv8301_ revD board.

I am using ccsv6 and compiler TIv6.4.2

My motor is 24-48 volt , 100 amps continues
Phase resistance is 0.0048 ohms
Motor inductance at 100hz is 0.088 mH

My Power supply can be configured either 24 volt , 24 amps or
48 volts at 12 amps.

Hi Chris ,
I apologize , I made a mistake on my previous inquiry regarding motorware version not driving the proper
board I am using with my kit. I was not paying attention and selected the wrong board while Importing
proj_lab02c into my workspace. I hope I can spin my motor now using this project.
