Hello, everyone. I hope someone help me.

The time to calculate FFT of 1024 point consume 8 ms with tms28335， which is too slow. The routiune presented is written in c. What's wrong with me? How to resolve it?

Xinxizyf,

I do not know what C code you are referring to, but TI provides optimized FFT libraries for the C2000 in ControlSuite. You don't say if you are doing fixed or floating pt, and real or complex FFT. But just as a data point, a floating point 1024 pt. real FFT in the library takes 30352 cycles. This equates to 0.2 ms at 150 MHz.

Hi, but there still exist another problem.

I run example( float an complex: C:\ti\controlSUITE\libs\dsp\FPU\v1_40_00_00\examples_ccsv5\2833x_cfft), loading input buffer data into matlab, and calculate FFT. When I compare result between matlab and example. They are differrent somewhat. The upper graph is calculated in matlab, the other is in example, which have some spikes. Please help me.

Hello, everyone.

The problem has been solved. The file used by my companion is a old file, not in ContolSuite. I give him a severe beating. I have been confusing why they aren't in accordance, Ti is a big company. The answer is this.
But Ti also need Technical Support Engineer to help client.
