max SPI frequency

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8734

Does TI have any plans to release 28235/28335 devices in the future with SPI peripherals that can work at a faster rate?

At the 100MHz system clock, LSPCLK = max of 100MHz; SPICLK = max of LSPCLK/4 = 25MHz.

At the 150MHz system clock, LSPCLK = max of 75MHz; SPICLK = max of LSPCLK/4 = 18.75MHz.

This is not bad but kind of slow considering there are numerous devices out there that support 50MHz (TI DAC8734) or even 75MHz (Numonyx SPI EEPROMs) clock rates.
