Current Measurement problem

In my project i am using a TMS320F28035 In that for Current measurement I am using a ACS712 IC which measures the ±5A current. For 0A current ACS712 IC shows 2.5 volt on Vout pin with or without load. The sensitivity of ACS712 IC is 185mv/A. but when I connect the Vout pin of ACS712IC to the ADC pin of TMS320F28035 the voltage at ADC pin giving 0 volt for varying load so why the voltage drop occur .
