Difference between F28069F and F28069

Hi all,

I have piccolo controller with Instaspin-FOC enabled libraries in its Boot-ROM. I wanted to use it for a different application apart from Motor control. So when i checked the INSTASPIN-TRM ( SPRUHI9 ) , in page 21 they have mentioned that only 14 pwm's are available in 100-pin version of F28069F which contradicts with another table from the same document showing 16 pwm channels are available.

Can anyone clarify on this. Also specify any hardware limitations with INSTASPIN enabled version.

Note: I will use linker command file of F28069 and i wont call any functions from the library.

Hi Naveen,

F28069F has extra Instaspin feature. NO limitations, instead F28069 is a subset of F28069F. The only extra thing F28069F has is Instaspin Libraries on ROM and USB peripheral.

Hi Gautam,
What about the status of PWM channels available ( the document i have mentioned above has contradictory statements ). Please clarify on this

PWM channels are same for same packages. Please compare properly. Check their homepages.

Some documentation may include the APWM functionality of the eCAP module in the total PWM count. The data manual for the device will be the golden documentation for how many of what module is on a device.
