Don't know if this is the forum for my question. If not please tell me the right forum for my question.

Currently we use SDFlash to update firmware of F2811 via RS232 link. In our new design, the RS232 link is removed so that we are not be able to use SDFlash any more. We consider write our own program to update the firmware. Just want to know if this is feasible and the related documents.

Hi,

We have a couple solutions available in controlSUITE for C2000 devices. Although this is not specifically for the F2811, you can port/modify the kernels for your device.

The serial_flash_programmer works with the sci flash kernels in controlSUITE. It utilizes the SCI Boot loader.
