ADC_SOC_C28x example not working

Hi all, I'm new to c2000 family, I'm trying to run the adc example for c28x (Concerto) which I had imported from the controlSUITE folder but I'm not getting the expected result. I checked the adc registers and pwm registers, but no change in the values . Even I'm not able to see any changes in the graph. I don'n know what I'm missing. What is the way to read the ADC values. Could anyone help me to solve the problem.

Hi Vinod,

Can you mention the C28x concerto device part you're working on? M35 or M36?
Also, I hope you're supplying proper voltage to configured ADC channel. You also need to enable real-time debug option or continuous refresh tab to observe refreshed adc values.

Hi Gautam, thanks for your reply. I'm using F28M36 part. I did't get you, can you please make it clear about the voltage configuration for ADC channels. I'm using the example project from the controlSUITE folder.

Yeah, I have checked the ADC1RESULT register but values are 0. Below is the snip shot of the debug session. I'm not getting what's wrong with this example. Could you please help me to figure the solution.

Vinod, it seems you've still not enabled Continuous Refresh.

Hi, I tried with enabling the continuous refresh but did't work. Meanwhile I tried epwm_adc_soc, it worked fine. I can see the ADCRESULTx registers values. I mean two channels are converted ADC1A0 and ADC1A2 which are triggered by EPWM1SOCA and EPWM1SOCB. I don't know what's wrong with the other example.

Vinod I'm unaware of that fact. Though its cool that the above example is working. You can continue your development right?

Yeah till now its ok. Now I need to transfer these adc data to m3. How do I access adc result on m3?. Further how can I send these data out through serial port. Is it possible using sci/uart loopback mode.
