Trip Zone emulation?

Hi.

I'm working on a design which doesn't use the TZn inputs for PWMs (those GPIOs are used for different things).

I wonder if there a way to simulate a specific Trip Zone in software. I know about the TZFRC register, but it can be used only for triggering a "general" trip zone event (like OST).

Is there a way to emulate an event on (for example) TZ3 only?

Hi Gautam.

There is no specific trip zone emulation in the thread you're referring to. He uses OST bit to emulate a general TZ event.

You mean to say that you need to trip at a specific event? Specific event here is some special task? Can you be a bit more clearer?

I want to be able to trip specific TZ, just like having external GPIOs connected to TZ1, TZ2 or TZ3.

For example:

set.bit.X would trigger TZ1

set.bit.Y would trigger TZ2

and so on.

I am not aware of a way to force a specific TZn event (from software).
