Hi,

We are using RS232 interface for Serial Flash programming using SCIA boot mode, and working properly for TMS320F28335.

Can I use RS485 (Half-Duplex) interface for the same?

A 485 converter should do the job for you.

In Boot mode how to control data flow from controller side?

By altering the Boot pins to SCI mode will take care of that.

Hi Gautam,

Look at my setup for serial boot loading in TMS320F28069

GPIO29(TX) ---> (pin 4) SN65HVD12D
GPIO28(RX) ---> (pin 1) SN65HVD12D
GPIO19(DE/RE) ---> (pin 2&3) DE/RE of SN65HVD12D

I've tried with RS485 to RS232 converter, but failed to communicate.
Device communication failed in Auto baud.

Any suggestion for this?
