Three Phase BLDC Motor Kit with DRV8312 and Piccolo MCU

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28027F, LAUNCHXL-F28069M, BOOSTXL-DRV8301

www.ti.com/.../drv8312-c2-kit Documents.

it says it can be used up to 50 volt /6.5 amps. For my application I need to connect 12 volt bldc motor and vary the speed depending on the pot value. Is there any way i can do this on this kit.(esp the voltage)

  • The kit supports a lower limit of 12V, but that is the very bottom limit. You might run into issues if the motor is being loaded heavily (it can dip the bus).

I would suggest a LAUNCHXL-F28027F or LAUNCHXL-F28069M and BOOSTXL-DRV8301, but there aren't any POTS included. You could use the buttons to cycle through pre-set speeds.
