Powerline over 100VDC - 24VDCPLCEVM Reference Design starting point?

Hi,

I am investigating the possibility of using PLC as an alternative to narrow band 868Mhz wireless communications in a railway application.  Is the 24VDCPLCEVM a good starting point and what would be involved in extending the operating voltage to 100VDC?
