Programming a password protected TMS320F2811 through the serial port

Yes - They will need to rebuild the SDFlash algorithm so that it knows the password of the device and can unlock it.  This fairly easy and is described in the readme file for the serial algos - you can get a copy here: http://emulators.spectrumdigital.com/utilities/sdflash/c2000/SDFlash_Serial_RefGuide_v3_3.pdf
