Suggested replacements or upgrades for TMS320F2812 compatible with CCS Cloud

You can try a slightly more powerful part TMS320F28335. Check the datasheet and user guides for detailed comparison. If you're looking for a lower part number do let us know.

C2000 support on TI Cloud will be happening slowly later this year, and will primarily be on the newer device families. I should warn you that the CCS Cloud isn't a full featured IDE, especially for real-time control and debugging. Recall that CCS for your PC is free to download and install and will work without limitations for tools with XDS100 emulators.

I think Chris is talking about example integration with Resource Explorer.

As for CCS Cloud, today you can build projects for F2812 but we don't enable debugging. Essentially today we limit debug support to LaunchPads and SensorTags where the debug probe is known.

So for C2000 we support debugging with the F28027, F28069 and F28377S LaunchPads.

This summer we will be adding more generic debug support where you could select the device and debug probe being used, similar to what we offer in CCS Desktop.
