IFR and IER interrupt registers

In C:

     IFR |= 0x0000;  //clear IFR

In ASM:

;write 0 to clear IFR

    AND    IFR, #0

;operation is atomic and will not be interrupted

I think you meant:

IFR &= 0x0000;

You can also do:

IFR = 0x0000;

/*** Manual clearing IFR ***/

extern cregister volatile unsigned int IFR;

     IFR &= 0x0000;  //clear in IFR
