Hi,

I am testing EMJ -04 PB22 , 200Hz, 200V motor in open loop. 

I am planning to rotate the stator field at some 2000Hz. with a small magnitude

My intention is to check the effect on stator currents ia, ib, ic when the stator field crosses the rotor field and thus find the initial  position of the rotor

Is there a chance that the rotor gets locked to the stator field at this frequency. Or what freq and Vq, Vd can i apply to do this test.
