Hi,

In the Ram Generator macro provided in the control suite.

Angle= angle+ Step_angle_max *Input Freq

Step angle max= Bas freq (fb) * Sampling Period(Ts) * 2^24

Output Freq= Angle* Sampling freq / (2^24)

I am confused with term step angle max. Can any body explain?

'Step_angle_max' is the maximum angular step of the sinusoid at maximum frequency (or base frequency).

I don't understand the variables "angle" and "maxstepangle". "stepanglemax" is depent on the base frequency, but what is the base frequency?

Base frequency is defined in the *-settings.h file.

'angle' is the angle of the current iteration estimated based on the current speed

'stepAngleMax' is the delta angle corresponding to BASE_FREQUENCY.

Thank you for answering but it is not helpful.

What is the "*-settings.h" file and what is angle? I do not understand that macro. Is it possible to ramp a frequency form zero to a setpoint (for example 50Hz) with the rampgen?
