Hi all

I am using Ti TMSF28335 for Inverter

Whenever some Switching surge comes in the system

EPWM gets freeze it Remains same continous high or continous low

i also observe all Gpio Pins were High

is the controller is in Halt state or Clock failure ?

and how to come out of this situation ?

Does watchdog will help ??

Hi Gaurav,

Watchdog will surely help you. Also, did you notice this with debugger or without or in both conditions? Sometimes debugger can be mischievous.

Hi Gaurav,

Is it possible to monitor the clock in your system? Say on XCLKOUT pin?
If watchdog configured? If so, system should get reset when watchdog times out.

Hi Gautam

I saw most of the time with using debugger. Gate pulses were halted ,
it seems like as if breakpoint has used in a running code

Did this ever happen without the debugger? Also, while the debugger was connected did you see the Play button getting enabled again when the halt happens?

play button get enabled whenever it happens

Gaurav this is more of a debugger noise pickup issue. Try with a core wound to your usb cable. This should not be observed while in standalone mode. Do share if you've any contradictory observation.
