1) In PMSM FOC sample code during closed loop control, when I switched from current loop to speed loop (lsw=2) a warning sound was produced. What could be the reason ? Are we supposed to close the speed loop only after the motor have achieved the synchronous speed ?
2) How to reverse the direction of the motor.? We should apply negative torque right ? For that I guess in current loop, changing the sign of Iq ref & speed ref is sufficient. Similarly in speed loop we need to change only the Speed ref. Please correct me if I am wrong.
