LCD interfacing with c2000 using simulink

I want to interface LCD with my c2000 piccolo launchpad using Simulink.....I want to display "Power is" and the then the power value......Is there any way to do so?...and which LCD is suitable for such application

Hi Nitish,

The best LCD would be a Serial one and not parallel. Check for LCDs with SPI/I2C or UART capability.

How to code it using Simulink as I am displaying my results that are computed using the logic designed in simulink.....There was a reply in some related question to this is that write "Power is " in the constant block...then how to display the result after that?

I've not used Simulink but you should be having Serial communication blocks right?

So if you've a Serial LCD -> check its datasheet for the commands to be sent to display data that you would receive from other blocks.
