Powering a F28027 launchpad in standalone mode

Hi,

I am trying to power a F28027 launchpad in stand alone mode. How do I start the code once I power it on? Or how do I know the code is programmed on the launch pad? I built it through CCS and then unplugged it and took off JP1, JP2, and JP3 and then powered it on with 3.3V but it doesn't appear to run my code. I am very unfamiliar with microcontrollers and would really appreciate the help. I attempting looking through user guides and other forums but could not find the solution. Thank you!

Hi,

Please check following points -

You are running the code from Flash.
Your BOOT PIN setting are set to BOOT from Flash.

Hi I tried to use the project but I'm not sure how to do the following steps:

This example runs the EPwm interrupt example from flash.

// 2) Flash the .out file into the device.
// 3) Set the hardware jumpers to boot to Flash
// 4) Use the included GEL file to load the project, symbols
// defined within the project and the variables into the watch
// window.

You simply have to press the Debug Button. Everything will be taken care of.
