Device Unique ID in F28377D

In the TRM Section 2.13.3.7, it states that

The CPU1 OTP contains a 256-bit value that is made up of both random and sequential parts. This value can be used as a seed for code encryption. The starting address of the value is 0x703C0.

However, the value is all 0xFFFF when I watch this memory location from debugger. Is this correct? Is this unique ID available?

Hi Jonathan, Is this a TMS device or TMX ? This should be mention on the package itself.

Hi Jonathan,

Programming of UID in OTP was introduced late in the process so I don't think this will be available on any of TMX devices.

Hello,

I have read on the (SPRS880G –DECEMBER 2013–REVISED MAY 2016 ). UID_UNIQUE register is only present on TMS Revision C devices.

I'm using TMX320F28377DZWTT device and I have checked the F2837xD Device SYSCTRL Register Definitions

and the UID_UNIQUE register is not defined there.
