Hello,

I am using the Inverter DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D together with the control card TMDSCND28069. I've seen that it is possible to use CAN on a frame level. Now I am wondering if it is possible to use a national instruments CAN database file (*.ncd) to describe CAN channels. If so, is there also a library available which enables the utilization of CAN on a channel level?

    We do not provide any .ncd file that goes with our CAN. Some of our devices have Driverlib support to use the CAN on a frame level. I am bit unsure what you are asking. Could you please be more specific?

    I checked with my colleague in the Software group and she mentioned that support for eCAN is not available in the Driverlib for this device. The driverlib on 28069 is limited to USB, and a few others needed to make the Stellaris USB examples easy to port (Interrupt, SysCtl, UART). (Please see C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2806x\v150\MWare\driverlib directory). As mentioned in the previous post, we do not have any support files to facilitate the usage of .NCD files for CAN.
