InstaSPIN-FOC with 20,000 RPM motor?

Hi,

I've tried to run the motor with RPM range about ~20,000 RPM with InstaSPIN-FOC launchpad.

However, the motor couldn't reach 20,000 RPM while another BLDC controller which is not FOC reaches 20,000 without problem.

So, my question is, how can I get my motor run in maximum RPM? Do I have to change any configuration?

Actually, motor size is small (22mm diameter). Kv = 2,000.

    how many poles?  it's important to know electrical frequency, not just mechanical to know if there are limitations.

    how fast could you run it?

    did it run stable at those speeds? with which lab?

    did you run proj_lab10a for over-modulation?
